At The Shores

This past week I had the opportunity to visit Kendu Bay; the fishing hub of kenya. Despite my long kept urge of netting down my own lunch if you know what I mean, i was hear for a different reason. I was to survey, install and integrate safaricom links on 6 different sites; a project spearheaded by the area Member of Parliament, Hon. Eng. Rege (I talked to him on phone and the outcome is a blog on its own). Anyways, I was on a 48 hour timeline and for you to understand fully the effect of strain I went through, try not sleeping for 3 days in a row. I managed to get good signal parameters on one of all six sites making my physical work easy but my reporting very hectic and tiring. (a failed survey leads to alot of picture taking, writen explanations of proposed solutions thus an extensive report is needed for escalation purposes).

I then headed to H Young to un-manage the point to point Radeon link and install a Wimax CPE to enhance the point to poiint speed and utilization, then heade to the Ndiru Safaricom base station to again, un-manage and recover the Radeonn equipments.

With the main missions complete, it was time to hit the shores of Lake Victoria to quench my long lasting urge. With a successful catch on my first attempt i came to a self conclusion that fish are too stupid to resist eh worms and they have no choice but to trap themselves. Talk about lack of instincts or should i say lack of intellignence… they just never learn from visible mistakes.
